ABENCOR® LABORATORY SETS FOR OLIVE ANALYSIS

Whenever olive oil is produced, there is a need to obtain oil samples fast and accurately.

ABENCOR® SYSTEM DESCRIPTION

For olive growers and oil manufacturers world-wide, ABENCOR ® equals reliability, strength and long lifetime.

MC2 Ingeniería y Sistemas designs, manufactures and trades pieces of equipment under the registered trademark ABENCOR ® that quickly obtain a sample of oil large enough to perform flavour, acidity and actual fat-content tests.

A full set of manuals and ancillary equipment is supplied in addition to the three main apparatus which constitute the Abencor ® System (Hammer Mill, Thermo-mixer and Centrifugal Machine), so a complete laboratory can be set up. The entire test is performed in full view of the operator, reproducing the oil factory process and without using any chemical substances. The fat efficiency attained is very close to the actual industrial index later achieved in the plant.

SAMPLING

The quantity of olives required to perform a test (about one kilogram) grants fully representative results regarding the properties of the collective analysed. The quantity of oil obtained is large enough to perform further flavour and acidity tests. Up to eight samples per hour can be obtained with the standard equipment. There are options to increase this nominal capacity.
